Recipe: Sunrise Smoothie

I have a smoothie almost every day, switching up fruit & other ingredients as the mood strikes. I picked up some carrot juice @ Trader Joe’s on Monday & just had to try it. I’ve had this the last two mornings, & as it’s rather delicious, I thought I’d share it! :)
What’s inside:
8 oz orange juice
2 oz carrot juice
3 tablespoons plain non-fat yogurt
1 banana
8 strawberries
8 pineapple slices (about 1/4 cup)
8 peach slices (about 1/4 cup)
Mix in your blender & enjoy! I also add ground flax seed for a bit of protein & omega-3s, but that’s totally up to you. It makes about 16oz of amazing delicious-ness.
All the fruit in this particular smoothie, except for the banana, was frozen – feel free to use frozen or fresh fruit, & make substitutions as you wish!
