» Ah, vacation! It hasn’t been nearly as productive or stress-free as I’d hoped, but it’s been nice nonetheless. The weather has been fabulous – I’ve had all the windows open every day, letting all that wonderful fresh air pour into our apartment. It’s even been chilly at night, which makes for wonderful sleeping, yes?
» In addition to the work I’ve been doing over here with regards to design & streamlining, I’ve been going through lots of stuff that I’ve somehow managed to fill my life with. I’m donating nearly all of it, as I’m rather amazed at what I kept from college (& earlier). What I thought I could do with all those random momentos, I really don’t know, but hopefully someone else will know what to do with them!
» Spending some quality time with my kitties has also been quite lovely.
» Aren’t these shoes adorable? & they’re “eco-friendly,” too! They shall be mine!
» Warwick Davis, who plays, among other fabulous roles, Professor Flitwick, recently asked on his Twitter: Which songs would Professor Snape have on his iPod? He got this playlist in response. Needless to say, he may just be my new favorite person.
» Re-discovering old favorites – I’ve always loved Rufus Wainwright, but lately, I’ve been craving his all of his music, & so I’ve indulged myself by adding lots of his music to my iPod. His voice is so divine!
» I’ve finally jumped on the Leverage bandwagon – we’re about halfway through the first season, & I just love it. It was just renewed for a third season, so you should definitely look into. It’s a bit like Italian Job, if House was in charge of the heist instead of Marky Mark. Plus it has a killer cast of great characters, which is an absolute must if you want me love it.
» Making chocolate chip cookies whilst listening to some of the greatest British actors reading Shakespeare’s sonnets. I know I already did a whole post on it, but still – it was amazing & oh-so-relaxing.
