Hello! That quote up there pretty much sums me up – all I need to be happy is a place of sunshine where I can play in my bare feet & feel the wind blowing through my hair.

I’m a twenty-something teen librarian by day, so I read a lot, but I also love a good movie or tv show (I’m addicted to TV box sets – stay away as long as you can!). I’m often found experimenting in the kitchen, or browsing other blogs – I’ll share all the best with you. I’ve interests in fashion, Eastern philosophies, photography, & graphic design. I’d like to live a simpler, greener life, surrounded by my books & bathed in sunshine.

I’m engaged; we’re getting this summer! A nice, simple ceremony surrounded by our closest friends & family. He’s the light of life, but not the subject of the blog. ♥

Whenever I write bios of myself I have a hard time breaking out of that “where I live” “what I do” “how old I am” trap. So instead of starting with that, I’ll let you listen to that song.

Now that we’ve shared that, I feel so much better telling you about the things I love. I’m a librarian, so I love books. Especially ones about werewolves. They’re my kryptonite. I love Halloween. I love trees, running water and mountains. I love making things, but don’t like following directions. I love organic things – natural soaps, herbal remedies, folk music and talking with friends around fires.

I love to explore and hope to live in many places that I can get to know well before I leave. I believe that the world is a pretty great place and I want others to see that as well.
